A Clean Slate January First

January is ACTION Month, each of us is presented with a clean slate on which to start writing; not our New Year's RESOLUTIONS ! our ACTION Plans.

What is your Vision for life? Have you stored it away in some draw over the years? well I just gave you permission to open the draw S L O W L Y...now please pick up that delicate little velvet box with your VISION of life and open it. Take a few minutes and reflect on this vision; can you recall the first time you began getting the idea? how excited you were? you began telling everyone about it...now take yourself back in time to that first day FEEL the excitement and start right now to work on your vision again.

It is NEVER too late, today is your day, 2010 is your time go for it. Let me share a story with you base on Philippians 4:11 I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. For those of you who are Christians know that scripture was written by Paul while he was in his dungeon. However please read and meditate on the following story written by a King who went into his garden one morning and found everything withered and dying.

The King ask the oak that stood near the gate what the trouble was?

He found it was sick of life and determined to die because it was not as tall and as beautiful like the pine.

The pine was all out of heart because it could not bear grapes like the vines.

The vines were going throw their life away because it could not stand erect and have as fine a fruit as the peach tree.

The geranium was fretting because it was not tall and fragrant like the lilac; and so on all through the garden.

Coming to a heartsease, the king found its bright face lifted as a cheery as ever. WELL , heartsease,I'm glad amids all this discouragement, to find one brave little flower. You do not seem to be the lease disheartened. NO I AM NOT of much account, but I thought that if you wanted an oak, or a pine, or a peach tree , or a lilac, you would have planted one; but as I knew you wanted a heartsease, I am determined to be the BEST little heartsease that I can. ( Story taken from Streams in the deserts)

We all get dungeon times in our lives, be content there however use your clean slate to write yourself out of that dungeon. Remember that you are unique, yes others may do greater works...however no one will ever be able to do your work; God created you for a PURPOSE.

2010 is the start of a brand new life for all of us, now that we are positioned let us get on mark, get set, Now LAUNCH. Changes that are to be is up to us let us take action and create what we desire and deserve.

What's written on your slate?
